La Beauté / Beauty. E->

English translation down below this page.

Quelques Extraits...

''There was a picture I had displayed in the center of the round art deco table of my lounge to be shown in order to remember me sweet times. A picture that had been taken one night next to the Mondrian's hotel' swimming pool looking over Sunset Boulevard, when we were all so handsome, fresh, young, glorious and invincible. Thierry and Marco were posing on it after a Frank Sinatra concert we had been to at the Greek in L.A., and I, standing next to them on their left at the peak of my beauty. People that came to my place were used to watch and admire it. They would all comment with the most amazing words about the outstanding tall dark and handsome tanned guy standing there dressed up to the nines with a killer smile and shining black hair, trying to figure out at the back of their memory, which Hollywood male actor was facing the camera looking so good. They had the protagonist in front of their eyes that was me they could not identify. They could not recognize me. Lord! They were putting me in an awful pain I had to hide with a few teeth and some hair less. How hurtful it was to have been young and so handsome. How cruel the mirror was to be older.''
