EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD! E->

English translation down below this page.

Quelques Extraits...

''EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD!

It was indeed a beautiful story. A true story, the way I loved to hear stories.

''EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD! Were singing on the most sophisticated Mister Quicy Jones' musical arrangements, Michael Jackson and Diana Ross in The Wiz. They were telling me to calm down, not to over do it, to ease on down the road…Then, straight after, they were carrying on singing, telling me not to carry on the way anything too heavy, anything that would be too much of a load. As a matter of fact, they were telling me not to carry nothing, and they were right. The Great Magician of Oz, that wicked sorcerer, had indeed given them both bad times, making them live a tough life all the way through, changing his mind as he fancied from green to red, from gold to who knows, scaring them all along the rough way, brutally stopping the last glimmer of hope they still had in order not to let them know what tomorrow would be made of, least of all the minute after. I had been there too, surrounded by all the wrong colors. That bewitching magician had made me doubt, led me astray too, he had put me in a state of fright when walking on that big yellow road facing the huge skyscrapers' entrance of Freedom, even if my road was not quite the same as Scarecrow and Dorothy's, though in fact, the same purpose to reach was. The purpose of the journey had been indeed literal. It was all about escaping from the bad, getting away from hell to reach paradise, an uncommon story of survival.
They both sunk and crashed each time the malicious man courted them in an ambush he fixed, but they both knew how to face it, holding to whatever they could in each moment of joy which they were aware of and could fully enjoy escaping from evil. They could be in stitches and lift off the ground by singing and dancing, only thinking of a better future life to come out of this sad place, letting that way raise all of their expectations to live them at their best. Dorothy wanted to go back home with her family, Tin Man wanted to have a heart, Lion wanted to get rid of his vanity and have courage, and Scarecrow wanted to have his brain back. You had to strongly believe in yourself to get over it all, no matter the doubts, the tears and the fears. You simply could not afford to let your hope drop to reach happiness, and it had finally paid off. They were all about to make their happy ending come true. They had heard Lena Horne's song. They had believed all along the way there's a reason to be, they had believed in themselves, they had realized that their time would come around for them to firmly hold it in their hands and say it's theirs and theirs only, each of them master of his own destiny. The Great Magician and his malicious whims had gone into flames while the stand-by fairy queen had meanwhile given them all their freedom and soul back. It had to be believed.
It was indeed a beautiful story. A true story, the way I loved to hear stories.
